Challenge Leagues
Leagues in Path of Exile are seasonal content releases that add new features to Path of exile currency the game, functioning like new servers. Most players participate in these leagues, which provide a fresh start for everyone. At the end of a league, characters migrate to their respective eternal game modes.

Example: In the Affliction League, players can choose Standard Affliction, Hardcore Affliction, SSF Affliction, or Hardcore SSF Affliction. Characters from these leagues move to the eternal modes once the league concludes.

Character Classes
PoE 2 introduces twelve base classes, each representing different attribute combinations:

Strength: Marauder (Axes), Warrior (Maces)
Dexterity: Ranger (Bows), Huntress (Spears)
Intelligence: Witch (Minions/Occult Spells), Sorceress (Elemental Spells)
Strength/Dexterity: Duelist (Swords), Mercenary (Crossbows)
Intelligence/Dexterity: Shadow (Daggers and Traps), Monk (Unarmed and Quarterstaves)
Strength/Intelligence: Templar (Flails), Druid (Shapeshift Spells)
Each class starts at a unique position on Path of exile currency for sale the passive skill tree, except the Scion from PoE 1, who will not be playable in PoE 2.
